Dates of Meetings

Our next meeting is on 17 February:-

When the Black Death swept through Medieval Europe it seemed like the end of the world had come. Unsurprisingly, the people called on their saints to protect them. This time of hope and fear produced some of the most striking images ever seen in art. Gwen Wright will explain all when she gives a talk on ‘The Impact of the Black Death on 14th and 15th Century Italian Art’

The monthly meeting is at at St. Andrew’s Church Hall, Merton Road, Slough SL1 1QW, guests are welcome and refreshments are provided. Doors open at 1:30 pm with announcements and speaker starting at 2pm.

If you are a newcomer, there is no obligation to join on your first visit. However you must become a member if you wish to take part in any of the activity groups, or if you attend more than one general meeting.
