Welcome!
Slough u3a is a vibrant group for adult people who wish to
remain mentally and physically active, enjoy social
interaction, and are generally no longer engaged in full-time employment.
Slough u3a members benefit from access to a growing
number of local or online groups that encompass a wide
variety of subjects.
Some members join Slough u3a just to participate in
our friendly outings and groups led by
enthusiastic and knowledgeable leaders plus
our regular monthly meetings.
Many of the available events are educational frequently covering diverse topics. including historical and areas of general interest. (see next event here)
Form friendships, learn collectively, share knowledge and experiences.
The u3a is one of the largest member organisations in the UK. Our members, who have stepped away from full time work, learn together, make friends and have fun.

The U3A movement is built on lifelong learning and the sharing of knowledge and skills. At Slough U3A, we encourage all members to take part in learning activities and to support the wider aims of the U3A. New ideas for groups and activities are always welcome.
We also hope that every member will play a part in helping Slough U3A grow and thrive. To keep things running smoothly, we’re always looking for people with practical skills, enthusiasm, or a little spare time to offer. Every contribution - big or small - makes a real difference.

➠ Monthly Meetings
Our regular monthly meetings are far more than an excellent talk by someone interesting and a cuppa. At these meetings Announcements are made, reminders are given, but far more importantly there is ample time to talk, say hello to someone new, maybe make a friend. We recommend all our members attend these meetings to keep in touch.
