Chantelle Kingsbury will be giving a talk on “An Introduction to Forensic Science” at the next meeting of Slough U3A, to be held at St Andrew’s Methodist Church Hall, Merton Road, Slough, SL1 1QW on Wednesday 17th August from 2-4pm. Chantelle’s talk will include a look at the teachings of the pioneer of forensic science, Dr Edmund Locard, known as the Sherlock Holmes of France, who believed that “Every contact leaves a trace.” His idea – that no criminal can leave the scene of the crime without leaving some evidence he had been there – is the basis of much of modern police work.”
