Do come along to our u3a Christmas party that is to be held on WEDNESDAY 13th DECEMBER from 2pm-4pm at St. Andrew’s Church Hall, Merton Road, Slough SL1 1QW. SERVING REFRESHMENTS
Our heartfelt thanks go to Joyce Jarman who does such a great job organising and serving hot drinks at our monthly meetings. Volunteers are needed on a regular basis to help Joyce and to cover when she is not there. Please offer your help if you can and let members of the committee know.

| The Lunch Group enjoyed an early Christmas meal at the Royal Oak in Farnham Common. The group has their next meal out at the end of January. |
SCRABBLE
There is demand for another Scrabble group to be started. Currently one meets in the home of Julia Smith and the other is part of the Activities group on Monday mornings. We need someone to lead and provide a venue for this new third Scrabble group. If you are willing to start a new Scrabble group, please make yourself known to one of the committee.

| This is the Book Group at their new venue, Wexham Golf Club enjoying a good discussion about their latest book “Cold Comfort Farm” by Stella Gibbons. This month they are reading The Sealwoman’s Gift by Sally Magnusson. |
