We also had a fascinating talk regarding the artists and anatomy of the human body. Federico Barocci ‘The Head of the Virgin’ |
GARDENING GROUP
At the end of December, we met at the arboretum. We loved the shapes of the trees, the bark, the fallen leaves and various seed structures.
Last week we met in a member’s garden. She was pleased to have so many ideas about how to manage her garden after a period of inactivity. Some members are going to give her a hand with pruning etc. We have a booking to visit a garden in Pinkneys Green at the end of this month.

NEEDED- u3a GROUPS’ COORDINATOR
The position of Groups’ Coordinator is still vacant. This role involves keeping in touch with all the convenors of the various activity groups and notifying them of any important information. In the past there has also sometimes been social get togethers so that all the convenors can meet in an informal setting and ask any questions or share any ideas that they may have. If you are interested in taking on this role, please speak to one of the committee members.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Along with this newsletter you will also receive a copy of the u3a Member Code of Conduct that has been approved and adopted by Slough u3a. It applies to all u3a members and clarifies the standard of behaviour expected from each member.
