Slough u3a is pleased to announce the launch of an improved Join Us page, designed to make becoming a member clearer, faster, and more accessible than ever.
The updated page now provides a straightforward explanation of membership pricing for new joiners, along with prominent new links that take users directly to Beacon—the national u3a membership system—for both new memberships and renewals.
By connecting directly to Beacon, Slough u3a has introduced a fully automated onboarding process. New members can now join quickly and securely using credit or debit card payment, complementing the existing payment options and ensuring that no one faces barriers when choosing to get involved.
This automation also brings significant benefits behind the scenes. During the busy renewal period, the streamlined process greatly reduces the administrative workload for the Membership Secretary and Treasurer, allowing more time to focus on supporting members and developing activities.
