OVERVIEW :
We do now have 3 walks arranged monthly.
Many thanks to Windsor Ramblers for sharing the Burham Beeches and Dorney walks to complement our walks. Please check the weather forecast and make sure you wear suitable clothing and footwear before you set out and please carry a drink.

Two are organised by the Windsor Ramblers which the U3a are given permission to join and we have a U3a walk which we allow the Ramblers to join.
The detail is as follows...
First Thursday of the month - Burnham Beeches
( Ramblers walk)
3rd Tuesday of the month - Langley Park [See Black Park & Langley Park]
( U3a walk)
4th Wednesday of the month - Dorney
( Ramblers walk)
We strongly recommend that all walkers nd people on our outings carry IN CASE OF EMERGENCY CARDS. Slough u3a have had cards specially printed. They are available from Committee members and Group Convenors.

We have 3 guided walks every month every month starting at 10 am { 9.30 In August. }
Walks are arranged on Tuesday's Wednesday's and Thursdays. Check the What's On Area for details.
A couple of short walks between 3 and 4 miles, and two slightly longer walks of about 5 miles.
Our walks start from a variety of rural locations close to Slough, and they are conducted at an easy pace.
Most walks provide an opportunity for a coffee break, either halfway or at the end of the walk and are intended to be a social gathering in addition to very rewarding exercise.
A monthly circular is provided to those u3a members who wish to participate containing the joining instructions within.

Reports and pictures from the Walking Group.

A gloriously sunny morning in May saw 12 members of the U3A walking group make the 4.5 mile walk around Iver and Little Britain lake and finish up in the local coffee shop
