Monday 15th September at St. Laurence’s Church, Upton at 2pm when Richard Emerson will give a talk and presentation about William Herschel.
Our next Local History meeting is next Monday 15th September at St. Laurence's Church, Upton at 2pm when we welcome back Richard Emerson as our guest speaker. Richard has presented a number of interesting presentations to us in the past. On Monday he will be telling us all about William Herschel. You may think you are quite familiar with William Herschel who is buried in St. Laurence's Church, but Richard is a fount of information and we look forward to finding out more about this man who is probably Slough's most famous historical figure.
