We have a coach trip to Margate on Monday 7th July. Please see the details below for all the details. Please note that the coach will leave Upton Court Park at 8am.
There is an optional walk of 4.5 miles from Margate to Broadstairs in the morning, returning by bus.

DAY TRIP TO MARGATE Monday 7th July 2025

Return: Margate 17.00
The journey takes approximately two and a half hours. We will have a toilet break at Clacket Lane services on M25 both ways.
The cost (coach only) will be £20.00.
Margate offers a delightful mix of cultural attractions, quirky museums and scenic spots. Here is just a selection:
Margate Main Sands
Walpole Bay Tidal Pool (the largest lido in the country)
Botany Bay
Margate Old Town: cobbled streets lined with independent galleries, vintage shops and cafes and other eateries
Shell Grotto: an underground passageway adorned with intricate mosaics made entirely from seashells. (cost £4.50)
Crab Museum:
Regrettably, the Turner Contemporary gallery is closed on Monday.
For those interested there will be an optional 4 mile easy walk from Margate to Broadstairs and return by bus.

Coach trips are open to members of Slough u3a and members of Windsor and District Ramblers, hence each coach trip has an optional walk.]
